About me

I am a Spanish space systems engineer. I hold a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, a master’s in space systems and a master’s in studies of science, technology and innovation, by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Universidad de Salamanca.

My first master thesis (2019) was on automatic maneuver detection of space objects using radar and optical measurements. Since then, I started a professional career in the space situational awareness domain.

The interest in space debris started in 2018, when I attended the first edition of ESA’s Space Debris Training Course in Redu, Belgium. In any case, space was always an interest of mine: I got my first telescope at the age of 9.

But computers have always caught my eye too: I installed Ubuntu 11.04 in my HP laptop when I was 15, age at which I started getting interest in the open source movement. For example, some work friends frequenly joke that I am a bit like John Malkovich here. And a lot of my friends consider me a mix of an old soul and a grumpy old man.

More on this when I decide to put more time here…

Anyway, you can contact me via Letterbird, via LinkedIn or via ResearchGate.
